makesense, a community-based model

makesense is a global community of citizens, supporting local solutions to solve global issues and empowering everyone to take action.

makesense is also made of a team of employees, who are working with different audiences.
Employees can work with volunteers, social entrepreneurs, corporates or institutions.
This is a very unique organizational model – and also sometimes complexe.

makesense is both a community and an organization. It is an organization with a community-based model.

The perfect governance does not exist

We want to keep on improving our governance model and align it with both with the community needs and the organisation needs.

We have tried to design a model that could be tested and improved while being experimented. Better done than perfect!

We give us some time to experiment and improve this model.
